The Runaways

The Runaways é um filme baseado na história da primeira banda de rock só de mulheres.

O longo conta a formação da banda, formada por garotas, dando ênfase na amizade entre a vocalista e guitarrista Joan Jett (Kristen Stewart- gostei da sua atuação no filme) e a tecladista e backing vocal Cherie Currie (Dakota Fanning - 16 anos e já é uma grande atriz).

Uma das cenas marcantes do filme (pra mim), foi o beijo entre as personagens das atrizes (Dakota e Kristen) que, no entanto, acreditam que não há motivo de polêmica já que Joan Jett e Cherie Currie tinham uma ligação muito forte.





Algumas músicas da trilha sonora são interpretadas por Kristen e Dakota, além de canções com as vozes originais da banda e outros grupos que as inspiraram.

33 Miles



"33Miles é uma banda cristã contemporânea com influências de música country de Franklin, Tennessee." O nome da banda deve ser pela provável idade que Jesus tinha quando morreu, e 33Miles representaria a trajetória do Jesus.



Me senti obrigado dessa vez a postar um breve pedaço da descrição da banda que achei por aí. Eu só posto músicas que eu realmente escuto e gosto, portanto não me importo se conhecem ou se gostam também. 33 Miles tem músicas realmente cristãs, mas muito legais (pode escutar, é bom mesmo)... As letras falam de Jesus e Salvação e as melodias são basicamente modern rock com influências de cowtry.



Até agora a banda tem 2 álbuns, se/quando tiver mais eu posto depois, como sempre...
